Now for the update! These last weeks have been rough physically!! With this being my 4th baby and 6th pregnancy total my body is really feeling it! My body hurts more than it ever has at this point and my doctor just says it’s due to my baby being much lower at this point than they have been in the past. I always continue to talk with my doctor especially as I breastfeed to make sure I am eating enough and the proper foods to keep my supply up while still staying on track to hit my goals. Right now I am 37 weeks and 5 days and I started counting yesterday! Like before I will stay at 2000 cal/day until baby is here and then will progressively drop to 1800 when baby gets here and progressively drop more as my weight plateaus. At this point Im not actually restricting my diet at all and my baby still gets everything they need to continue growing, it really just gets me in the routine of tracking again and making it a habit by the time baby is here. I start and 2000 and progressively drop as my weight plateaus. For those new here I do a tiered calorie restriction post baby to lose the baby weight after pregnancy. Baby first! This is day two of staying within 2000 calories a day. Again like with my last two, I talk to my doctor before starting. Technically this is day 2 of starting my postpartum routine to lose the baby weight ?.

But I do it because I want to, and guess what? There are many days I don’t cook and clean as well, and my husband doesn’t care. I’m not a barbarian, I like a clean house.īut the difference is that it’s not my responsibility to make sure my husband has a hot meal when he gets home or a sparkly house. I’m one of those “strong women/equality” kind of ladies who believes that my husband can cook and clean too and he should (he does)!Īnyway as a stay at home mom I do actually cook and clean because 1. Now let me first say that I am a strong believer that just because I stay home with my kids doesn’t mean it is MY responsibility to keep the house clean and do all the cooking. As a stay at home mom, life gets pretty crazy and there can be a lot to balance.
